As a small flying group in Sweden six of us decided to buy a to a Piper Mirage and step up from flying our local clubs Cessna 182RG. Sky Ferry provided a detailed before purchase inspection on the aircraft which also included placing our aircraft in a US trust so we could operate our aircraft. For the complex and demanding task of moving our Cessna 172 from Satna Monica, California to St Petersburg Russia we put our trust and asset in the hands of Sky Ferry to move the aircraft on the West bound crossing via Canada, Alaska and Eastern Russia where additional drums of avgas had to be ordered in to cover the shortage and general lack of availability in the Far Eastern territory.
